Job Description

As the HR Manager of a reputed school in Junagadh, Gujarat. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our educational institution by overseeing all human resources-related activities. You will be responsible for scrutinizing applicant data, scheduling interviews and teaching demonstrations, addressing employee concerns, and managing various HR-related tasks.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Applicant Screening: Reviewing and analyzing applicant data to assess qualifications and suitability for available positions within the school.
  • Interview Coordination: Scheduling interviews and teaching demonstrations for potential candidates, ensuring efficient and timely communication throughout the process.
  • Employee Relations: Addressing and resolving employee issues, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner, fostering a positive work environment.
  • HR Administration: Managing HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, updating policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborating with department heads to identify staffing needs, participating in recruitment efforts, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Performance Management: Assisting in performance evaluation processes, providing guidance and support to managers and employees regarding performance feedback and improvement plans.
  • Training and Development: Coordinating training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies, supporting professional growth within the organization.

Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify and resolve complex HR issues, using sound judgment and discretion.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all HR-related activities.
  • Knowledge of Employment Laws: Comprehensive understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all HR practices.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant HR tools and systems.
