Job Title: Business Head/General Manager of Sales - Home Automation (KNX)

Experience: 5-8 Years

Job Location: Pune

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales and promotion of KNX home automation products across India, focusing on driving revenue growth and expanding market penetration.
  • Provide technical support to dealers, customers, and internal teams, ensuring product performance and addressing any technical challenges promptly.
  • Assist in designing customized home automation solutions , tailoring KNX systems to meet the unique needs of clients.
  • Present and demonstrate KNX products and solutions to potential clients, highlighting their features, benefits, and business advantages.
  • Coordinate projects across cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, and project management) to ensure smooth and successful project delivery.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers, dealers, and internal staff to improve product knowledge and ensure effective system implementation and usage.
  • Travel to customer locations across India for demos, product installations, training, and ongoing support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and lead a team of sales and technical professionals, setting clear targets and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in technical sales, support, or project management, with a focus on KNX home automation solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of KNX systems , including design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with home automation technologies and integration, particularly within the smart home and IoT sectors.
  • Proven track record of sales management , project execution, and business development.
  • Excellent communication skills , with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle complex customer challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Willingness to travel across India to meet clients, oversee projects, and provide ongoing support.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in KNX or other relevant home automation technologies.
  • Project management experience , especially in cross-functional team coordination and client project delivery.
  • Experience in customer training , technical support documentation, and creating educational materials.
