Role DescriptionAs a BPO Sales Executive for Freight Brokerage, you will play a key role in expanding the business by generating and closing sales for freight transportation services. You will work with U.S.-based clients, ensuring that their freight logistics needs are met through efficient brokerage services. Your primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth, develop relationships with potential and existing clients, and identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:Identify and research potential clients in need of freight and logistics solutions.Generate new sales leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.Qualify leads and assess the best freight options for clients.Sales Outreach & Client Acquisition:Reach out to prospective clients and introduce freight brokerage services.Schedule meetings, provide virtual or in-person consultations, and deliver presentations to close deals.Develop customized proposals and quotations based on customer needs, competitive pricing, and service capabilities.Client Relationship Management:Establish and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients.Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with services and address any concerns.Act as the primary point of contact for clients and provide expert guidance on freight logistics.Negotiation & Deal Closure:Negotiate rates and terms with clients to secure profitable business contracts.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of freight solutions as per client requirements.Close sales and achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.Market Analysis:Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and the latest in freight brokerage.Utilize this information to position the company as a top choice in the industry and offer innovative solutions.CRM & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status within the CRM system.Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports, detailing revenue, prospect status, and sales forecasts.Collaboration with Operations:Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution and delivery of freight services.Provide clients with updates on freight status, shipments, and any issues that arise during transport.
Key Skills & Requirements:Experience:3+ years of sales experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or a related BPO industry.Proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring and managing clients.Experience working in the U.S. freight or logistics market is highly preferred.Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.Ability to negotiate and present complex solutions in a simple and compelling way.Sales & Negotiation Skills:Strong skills in cold calling, prospecting, and lead conversion.Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.Knowledge of Freight Brokerage:Understanding of the freight and logistics industry, including common shipping methods, rates, and processes.Familiarity with the freight brokerage software, transportation management systems (TMS), and CRM tools.Customer-Focused Approach:A customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service and value.Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Work Ethic:Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, though not required.Availability:Flexible work hours to accommodate U.S.-based clients and time zones.
