Description
‘Hindustan Feeds’ is a professionally managed agro-based company which has manufacturing units located in Baramati, Merta (Rajasthan), Satara and Shrirampur. ‘Hindustan Feeds’ is a market leader that has a strong presence in the cattle feed industry with a rapidly growing business in Maharashtra. Dynamic candidates are encouraged to apply for the following role at our Satara plant.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Oversee and supervise the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality work is performed safely and efficiently.
· Diagnose and solve problems in the production line.
· Establish and maintain safety procedures and protocols, ensuring regular safety training and awareness for workers.
· Plan production activities according to the demands of the Marketing department.
· Regularly check the preventive maintenance performed by the Maintenance department.
· Manage and plan manpower for the production process.
· Generate reports on the SAP/ERP system as required.
· Apply knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Time Study, and Industrial Engineering to add value to work processes.
· Ensure compliance with the Factory Act.
· Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production and safety.
· Implement Kaizens and continual improvement projects.
· Initiate and oversee cost-cutting projects.
· Implement BIS Standards Norms.
Requirements:
· Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
· 10 to 12 years of experience in the Production / Manufacturing field.
