JOB DESCRIPTION

Insurance and Energy Domain expert with good knowledge on Insurance/Energy Applications. Business Analyst to drive requirements elicitation, bridging by translating business requirements into technical artifacts managing requirements, creating activity diagrams, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, flowcharts, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, interviews, and workflow analysis to Induce and manage requirements, drive Requirements sessions, perform analysis, do project coordination, documentation, client and internal communication, and contributing to project in terms of working with project managers to define concepts and using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requirements Elicitation - Gathering information from multiple sources and critically evaluating it, reconciling conflicts, disseminating high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from their true needs

• Manage Requirements - Using activity diagrams, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, flowcharts, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, interviews, and workflow analysis to Induce and manage requirements

• Drive Requirements Sessions - Driving and challenging the presumptions of business units on how will they successfully execute their plans. Interpreting business needs of customers and translating them into the application and operational requirement with the help of strong analytical and product management skills

• Analysis - Establishing the technical vision and analyzing tradeoffs between usability and performance needs by teaming up with developers and subject matter experts

• Coordination - Liaisoning between technology teams, support teams and business units

• Documentation - Using standard templates and natural language to develop requirement

specifications; Delivering work products throughout the project life cycle

• Communication - Serving as a channel between the internal-external customers and the software development team through which requirements flow. Communicating and collaborating Proactively with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and delivering Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs as and when required

• Project Contribution - Conferring with project managers to define concepts and using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems

PRIMARY SKILLS

• Extensive exposure in Insurance/Energy domain, especially any insurance software and projects on digitization in Life and P&C Insurance.

• Extensive experience in technical business analysis in a related industry.

• Advanced knowledge on Salesforce(any CRM), SQL and system integration solutions.

• Ability to facilitate internal end-user proficiency.

• Ability to design and maintain efficient customer portal support and feedback channels.

• Ensuring optimal system functionality via integrated diagnostics.

• Must be able to interpret the information on the model and have the knowledge to come up with an improved model.

• Knowledge of requirements management techniques and tools like Rational Rose, Blueprint etc., exposure to terminologies used in asset management, experience in running requirement elicitation sessions and documentation of BRDs & in Jira for Agile projects.

SECONDARY SKILLS

• Exposure to project management and client coordination; Experience as product owner in agile projects

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED(If Any)

• INS-21, 22 or 23 or LOMA Level-1 (preferred) or CBAP (preferred),CSPO
