JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Jr. Draftsman will assist in creating detailed drawings and design plans under the supervision of senior engineers. This role requires attention to detail, understanding of technical drawings, and the ability to work with drafting software.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare detailed drawings and layouts based on engineering specifications
  • Collaborate with senior draftsmen and engineers to ensure accurate designs
  • Update and modify existing drawings as needed
  • Interpret and follow established drafting standards and procedures
  • Contribute to project meetings to discuss and resolve design issues
  • Ensure all drawings and designs comply with industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of drafted materials

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree or diploma in drafting, engineering, or related field
  • Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and design standards
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Proactive and willing to learn new drafting techniques
