About the Company

The MBD engineer will be responsible for developing real-time deployable algorithms and optimized code for integration with low level software.


About the Role

Development of vehicle level and component level algorithms in MATLAB\Simulink\ Stateflow following a complete Model Based Design workflow. Major projects are Battery Management systems, Motor Control Applications. Component level, System Level and Vehicle level Simulations in MATLAB\Simscape. Simulation and MIL/SIL testing using MATLAB/Simulink. Embedded code generation and optimization of code using MATLAB tools for integration with low level/base software.


Responsibilities

  • Development of vehicle level and component level algorithms in MATLAB\Simulink\ Stateflow following a complete Model Based Design workflow. Major projects are Battery Management systems, Motor Control Applications.
  • Component level, System Level and Vehicle level Simulations in MATLAB\Simscape.
  • Simulation and MIL/SIL testing using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Embedded code generation and optimization of code using MATLAB tools for integration with low level/base software.


Qualifications

B.Tech/MTech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with focus on Control systems and Power Control. Experience/Good understanding in Automotive Power train components. 3-4 years for M.tech /4-6 years for B.Tech experience in development of Model Based Design tools like MATLAB


Required Skills

  • Must be familiar with basics of engineering mathematics and physics.
  • Must be familiar with C language.
  • Must be familiar with MATLAB Script and Simulink.
  • Must understand motor controls, Batteries, and power control.
  • Familiarity with Auto-code generation using Embedded Coder.
  • Experience with MATLAB tools like Simulink Design Verifier, Code Prover etc.
  • Electrical and controls domain knowledge.
  • Product development experience using Simulink, Stateflow, Simscape, Embedded Coder.
  • Strong working knowledge of Control system development in MATLAB and making it deployable for embedded processors.
  • Hands on experience of modelling electro-mechanical systems.
  • Hands on experience of control systems, implementing closed loop controllers.
  • Shall be able to handle experimental validations of algorithms.
