Purpose of the Job:

To overseeing critical areas such as Procurement, Planning & Distribution across various divisions. To manage a diverse portfolio that includes the CDMO Business, API, and PMG navigating through a complex landscape of multiple products while overseeing the in-house processes

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute global supply chain strategies that align with the companys goals, ensuring smooth and cost-effective operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory, and quality to optimize product flow from raw material sourcing to end-user distribution.

  • Establish long-term supply chain roadmaps with a focus on innovation, risk management, and compliance.

  • Operations Management:

  • Manage relationships with contract manufacturers (CMOs), third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and suppliers across various global markets.

  • Ensure uninterrupted global supply of critical pharmaceutical products by implementing robust inventory and demand planning strategies.

  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure supply chain operations comply with all industry regulations, including FDA, EMA, and other global health authorities.

  • Develop and enforce a global supply chain risk management plan to mitigate potential disruptions due to supplier issues, geopolitical risks, or regulatory changes.

  • Product Lifecycle & Launch Management:

  • Lead supply chain readiness for new product launches, ensuring that manufacturing, packaging, and distribution are aligned with the launch plan.

  • Collaborate closely with commercial and regulatory teams to align supply chain efforts with product life cycles, including patents, exclusivity, and market demands.

  • Cost & Process Optimization:

  • Continuously seek opportunities for operational efficiencies, cost reductions, and innovation in procurement, production, and distribution.

  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices to streamline operations.

  • Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility:

  • Ensure ethical sourcing of raw materials and responsible practices across the supply chain.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

  • Identify the development needs of team and work with them for their development
  • Succession planning and maintaining harmony within the team
