The role entails managing the operational responsibilities pertaining to
Investments.
Key Responsibilities
A. Fixed Income
B.
1. a) Daily Reports, peer group analysis, portfolio Yields of Debt Schemes
• Daily preparation of running yield, Avg. Maturity, Macaulay for all
schemes
• Peer group data collation – Avg Maturity, Macaulay, MD, fund portfolio
analysis etc.
• Preparation of peer analysis reports like fund portfolio allocation
analysis, expense and YTM report from factsheets & portfolios
2. b) Entering Deals and co ordinating with back office for smooth
transaction flow
• Entering secondary deals in the m-fund dealing system.
• Creation of new security/issuer
• Coordinating with back office for smooth transaction flow
3. c) Preparing approval sheet and co ordinating with compliance for
monitoring SEBI and IRC Limits
• Preparing approval sheets on secondary trade checking all SEBI & IRC
limits and keeping dealer and fund manager updated on the available
limits.
• Co ordinating with risk for monitoring the limits exchanging mails on
check on approval sheet.
• Preparing quarterly reports as a SEBI requirement.
4. d) In maker/checker role , checking the work of back-office , compliance
to detect any discrepancies pertaining to debt
• Continuous co-ordination with back-office on all trades and any
discrepancy resolving the same at earliest by coordination with
dealing/ FM and risk in case of limit release on particular trades.
• Getting Bio monthly CTR acknowledgement from FM as a SEBI
requirement.
C. Equity Investments
a) Vote on company Resolutions / Meeting & maintain record as per SEBI
Format, maintaining and improving process flow.
b) Preparing EIC presentations and capturing minutes of the meetings
c) Coordinating with analysts for sector views, notional downside sector
and securities
d) Follow-up on stewardship alerts, and managing the stewardship
related reportings
e) Co ordinating & arranging Key Idea Presentation with various brokers
f) Entering & maintaining the requisite investment related data in the
system
g) Preparing & publishing reports required as per daily investment
reporting, compliance requirements (SEBI, AMFI), peer-group analysis,
and other data preparation required by the function from time to
time.
h) Maintaining MIS including new/gap coverage notes, quarterly notes
and for other requirements from time to tim
i) Keeping a check / tracking of the required investments data/metrics.
j) Providing the information required in Factsheet
k) Preparing requisite data & maintaining notes for Investment
Committee Meetings / Board Meetings
l) Creating and maintaining checks & balances of various investment
related operational data/charges
m) Collaborating with Back Office team for smooth operations pertaining
to investments.
n) Collaborating with rating agencies for data and other requirements.
o) Coordinating with analysts for Research Notes on new stock
purchases, gap notes as well as quarterly notes. Timely maintaining
these records as per Stewardship code by SEBI.
p) Ensuring yields EWS and PRM Trades on daily basis
