Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium and Java for mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Execute and analyze automated tests, identifying defects and ensuring they are properly documented and tracked.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and ensure test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback cycles.
- Perform regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in the automated test environment, providing timely resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile testing and automation tools.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a focus on mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency in Appium and JavaScript.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Mocha, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of mobile application development and testing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
