Horticultural Manager

1. Cultivate and manage a variety of horticultural crops, including fruits, vegetables
2. Plan, implement, and oversee planting schedules, irrigation systems, and
fertilization programs to ensure optimal growth and yield.
3. Monitor and assess crop health, identifying and addressing any pest or disease
issues promptly and eectively.
4. Manage pest, disease, and weed control programs in line with hygiene and health
standards.
5. Conduct soil analysis and implement appropriate soil management practices to
maintain soil fertility and health.
6. Utilize innovative horticultural techniques and practices to improve crop quality,
yield, and sustainability.
7. Utilize nursery expertise for seedling propagation, transplanting, and maintaining
plant health in nurseries.
8. Identify technical and business problems, investigate causes, and formulate
solutions.
9. Plan and organize trials to assess eectiveness of solutions.
10.Stay updated on industrytrends,advancements,and best practices in horticulture, incorporating relevant knowledge into daily operations.
11. Provide guidance and training to sta members on horticultural practices,
techniques, and safety protocols.
12. Execute daily works at the site to ensure adherence to plans.
13. Report daily activities at the site in prescribed formats.
14. Attend weekly meetings with management regarding work progress.
15. Schedule, plan, allot work to laborers, coordinate with clients, and control site
operations.
16. Check work before starting, after completion, and report to the head.
17. Perform essential administrative tasks including record keeping, budgeting, and
accounts.
18. Communicate eectively with colleagues and professional groups orally and in
writing through briefings, reports, and presentations.
19. Have knowledge of extracting byproducts from produce.
20. Conduct tree surveys, prepare inventory reports, and obtain necessary
permissions for tree-related activities.
21. Attend site visits, periodic meetings, and coordinate with relevant authorities for
obtaining necessary permissions.
22. Execute and supervise tree transplantation work at the site.
23. Be flexible to travel as required.

1. Specializing in the cultivation of Taiwan Guava Fruits and Dragon Fruits, with a particular focus on exotic varieties.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in Sandalwood cultivation and Integrated Farming practices.

Eligibility
1. B.Sc./ M.Sc . Agriculture/ Horticulture / forestry
2. PhD Agriculture / Horticulture / forestry
3. 3 - 6 years of research experience
4. Minimum 3 Years of On field experience.
5. Experience in sandalwood plantation activities with intercrops
6. Experience in Guava Plantation and Post Management
7. Dragon fruit experience would be an added advantage.
8. Proven technocratic experience in ability to plan, direct and manage the
operations
9. Proven starter and quick learner who can work independently with a
strong entrepreneurial spirit
10.Experience in preparing developing and managing budgets
11. Ability to inspire and elicit support and cooperation from diverse cross
functional teams
12. Proven of taking webinars in Multiple Languages preferably Kannada,
Telugu, Hindi, English
13. Must have a excellent track record of having new innovative ideas in the
agriculture industry
14. Proven of Studying Market demand and come with solutions
15. Must work in Farmland location at Hindupur , Andhra Pradesh
