Hands-on Skillset:

Basic concepts of Statistics, linear algebra and data engineering, NLP, Linear Algebra, ML algorithms, AI -ANN/DL, CNN-pretrained models, Timeseries models, GAN/VAE, Generative language models and transformers.


Responsibilities:

1. Generic & Industrial Data Analysis:

- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analysing large datasets industrial datasets

- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, anomalies and insights

- Support the development of data visualizations to communicate findings

- Work with time-series data to extract meaningful insights and trends

2. IoT Integration:

- Collaborate on projects involving IoT data, sensors, and devices

- Gain hands-on experience in integrating and analyzing data from IoT sources

- Contribute to the development of predictive maintenance models leveraging IoT data

3. Model Development for Process Optimization:

- Work closely with the process team to develop models for process optimization

- Utilize machine learning algorithms to enhance efficiency and performance in industrial processes

- Collaborate on the implementation of models to improve process outcomes

4. Programming and Tools:

- Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, or others for data engineering, analysis, and modeling

- Familiarity with data science libraries and tools (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

5. Communication:

- Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements

6. Documentation:

- Document methodologies, code, and results for future reference

- Contribute to the development of best practices and documentation

7. Learning and Development:

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science

- Take initiative in learning new techniques and tools to enhance skillset


We expect you have:


- M.E/M.S (by Research) degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science (with AI-IOT, AI/ML)

(Chemical, Materials, Instrumentation, Energy/Industrial Engineering discipline)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in programming languages, especially Python or R

- Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy)

- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications:


- Coursework or projects related to data science and machine learning

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau)

- Knowledge of big data technologies, (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)

- MLOps/cloud solutions and Gen AI/LLM is a plus
