Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Checkpoint Palo Alto, Sophos, SonicWALL Firewalls.
2. Arista, Juniper, Cisco network switches.
3. Data Network Routing and Switching Protocols OSPF EIGRP BGP STP MSTP HSRP VRRP VSS and VSU.
4. Knowledge of Aruba and Cisco Wireless network, APs iAPs.
5. Designing large scale solutions in large e-commerce institutions.
6. Palo ALto\checkpoint Firewall products configured both in standalone mode high availability configuration and virtualized mode.
7. Must have experience in handleing Cisco WLC or Aruba Wireless Controller.
8. knowledge and hands on experience in handling and Troubleshooting a DC switch network configured with MST Multiple Spanning Tree
HSRP Hot Standby Routing Protocol Ether channel Dot1Q Trunking.
8. Site 2 Site VPN tunnels creation\troubleshooting.
9. GLobal Protect\oVPN\Pulse Secure. VPNs any connect RA VPNS Load Balancer LTM and GTM 2 F5 Load Balancers Creation of New VIP WIP Profiles Monitor Persistence Preparing and implementing irules Creation of SSL Certificate and upload into devices
10. Patch/OS upgradation of Checkpoint Palo Alto, Sophos, SonicWALL Firewalls along with Cisco, Dlink, Rujie, Juniper switches. Keeping all network devices complaint.
11. Must have knowledge about ITIL practices like, Incident, Request, Change and Problem management.
12. Vendor management including meeting up the ISPs and network vendors to share expectations and measure them on an ongoing basis. If needed measure and replace them basis their performance.
Preferred candidate profile
At least 7-10 years in Network and Security Management and Implementation role.
Excellent understanding of the organizations strategies and goals
