Responsibilities:

  • Implementing Power BI apps/reports, data sets and dashboards end to end from requirement gathering to development and providing access.
  • Apply UX design principles to data visualization and dashboard layout to improve usability and user satisfaction.
  • Prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
  • Supporting Power BI environment
  • Reviewing existing development and applying best practices/data governance

Skills:

  • Expertise in Power BI including Design / Development of apps/reports, data sets and dashboards.
  • Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
  • Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Azure Data platform and synapse knowledge will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in Power BI project based development.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a diverse team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Power BI development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, UX Design or related field.
  • Strong understanding of UX design principles, tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD), and best practices.
  • Knowledge of data storytelling, visual hierarchy, and accessibility in dashboard design.
  • Experience designing and building user-centered dashboards and interfaces.
  • Knowledge/Experience with Azure cloud stack.
  • Certification in PowerBI platform
  • Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Looker) or UX research methods.
