What role you will play in team The role of Buyer to Analyze and process purchase requisitions for spot PO, re-bid, commitment extension and cancellation, generating savings. Location: Bangalore Key interfaces Procurement Personnel Other R2O incl. Requisitioning, Buying, Receiving, Agreement Support, Payables Payables and Payment Solutions Vendor Onboarding Engagement Organization incl. Business Interface Data and Analytics, AVI Business Lines and Representatives Controls and Contract Compliance Team External Supplier What you will do Buying goods and services Execute spot purchase orders of various equipment, commodities, or services Issue spot purchase order for third- party goods and services required by Business Lines on a timely basis and with competitive terms Issue spot purchase orders value more than USD 50K for third-party goods and services or complex requests required by Business Lines on a timely basis and with competitive terms, by working on strategy and negotiation to generate values  Ensure key deliverables of team are completed timely and properly (KPI Target, Daily Productivity, SLA, etc.) Analyze and manage costs to ensure procurement activities are within budget and conduct Price Reasonableness Check for cost competitiveness Handle terms and conditions with negotiation  Coordinate among business lines /functional experts on various purchase order issues and ensure timely receipt of goods and services Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to ensure the best value Ensure all work associated with the development and management of Orders is in- compliance with applicable laws and established controls  Improve recycle of purchase order Look for process improvement to enhance deliverables. About you Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Equivalent related stream or Non engineers with good contracting/buying/sourcing experience  Minimum 1 year exp in Buying  Good and effective communication(both written and oral) with interpersonal skills Controls mindset by having attention to details  Service excellence, high commitment, and accountability Strong collaboration and team player Adaptability, fast learner, and willing to learn Strong problem solving and analytical skills Focus on customers Self-driven, organized, and be able to prioritize and work independently Courage, ability influence without authority and advocating a business position Preferred Qualifications/ Experience  Show initiatives Proficient in Microsoft Offices (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of Requisitioning to Pay (RtP) process and ERP system Background in business-related fields.
