Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a SharePoint Developer at Venture Consultancy Services. As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for SharePoint administration, designing and developing SharePoint solutions, utilizing InfoPath, and contributing to software development projects. You will work closely with the development team and clients to ensure successful deployment and implementation of SharePoint solutions.


Configure SharePoint Systems :

 Customize SharePoint sites according to user needs and project specifications.

Develop and manage SharePoint workflows, forms, and web parts to optimize functionality.

Development Feasibility and Scalability:

 

Ensure SharePoint development is designed to be scalable and sustainable.

Apply best practices in SharePoint development to ensure long-term reliability and performance.


Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing:

 

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and glitches within SharePoint applications.

Provide timely support to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted web interface.

Project Coordination and Reporting:

 

Collaborate with senior SharePoint developers to discuss project progress and milestones.

Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and management.

Enhance User Experience:

 

Adhere to project briefs to deliver user-friendly SharePoint sites and solutions.

Design and develop web interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint Designer.

Proficiency in SharePoint framework, SharePoint workflows, and web parts development.

Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Familiarity with back-end technologies like C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Microsoft SharePoint certification.

Experience with SharePoint migration projects.

Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
