Key Responsibilities

  • As a component owner, your primary responsibility is to design, develop and test circuits (on-board power supplies, analog and digital circuits etc.) for automotive embedded hardware components (BMS, VCU, Display/cluster, Telematics)
  • Analyze design as per system requirements and components specifications
  • Perform calculations (electrical ratings, mechanical durability and life) and select components (passives, discretes and actives)
  • Perform circuit simulations and analysis in SPICE software for POC and ideation
  • Expertise in schematic capture and documentation of design including DFMEA and Internal test reports
  • Carry out board bring up, testing, troubleshooting and initial software flashing
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure timely development of the product

Ideal Candidate

  • B.E / B.Tech in EEE/ECE
  • 5 to 9 years relevant industry experience designing automotive electronics
  • Experience in the EV industry is preferred
  • Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals (analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, etc.)
  • Must have hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug and validation
  • Comfortable in a lab environment using oscilloscopes, power supplies, current probes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, etc.
  • Expertise in Altium Designer software is a mandate
  • Experience working with mechanical design and software development teams
