· Qualified Chartered Accountant carrying experience of around 15-20 years

· Must have sound technical and functional knowledge of Tax laws
· Able to lead team of qualified professionals
· Excellent inter personal, communication and behavioural skills

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities – Taxation
· Responsible for the tax planning of company, including group companies, associates, subsidiaries, strategic partnerships (for regular operations and monetization) with CPPIB, GIC and other partners
· Responsible for strategic corporate actions including evaluating and recommending tax-efficient structures for a REIT listing and Amalgamation / Demerger of various group companies.
· Responsible for Tax assessment, Tax inquiries, etc.
· Responsible for management of Tax Litigations of Group Entities at various levels i.e. CIT (Appeals) / ITAT / High Court & Supreme Court.
· Ensuring statutory compliances well before time and availing all the benefits of exemption & deductions, as per provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961, including but not limited to the furnishing of Income Tax Returns, Tax Audit Reports, Transfer Pricing Reports, MAT Certificates, TDS Returns and analysis & payment of Advance Tax, LDC certificates, Self-Assessment Tax, etc.
· Expeditious resolution of Tax matters such as appeals, pending refunds, disposal of rectification applications, etc.
· Keeping business leadership abreast of various tax implications on a continuing basis.
· Analyze and provide MIS reports to the Management to make data-driven decisions.
· Keep management abreast of latest developments in the field of Direct Taxes
· Management of the Outsourced Auditors for both Internal Audit and Stat Audit
· Appointment/re-appointment, Negotiation of scope, efficiency and fees, Evaluation of scope, efficiency and fees and Recommendation of Audit Firms for both Internal Audit and Stat Audit
· Ensuring quality of the audits, timely completion and regular updation.
