Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.Technical Skills:Must be in good practical understating of Data StructureBuild predictive statistical models or machine-learning algorithms as appropriateProficiency in AI, Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision,RNN, and NLP (BERT) and Generative AI concepts and their practical applications.Understanding of APM tools like Splunk/ELK/EFK/Kibana etcProven experience in productizing Gen AI /AI/ML/NLP/CV projectsExperience in frameworks to depict the interpretability of models and MLOps.Extensive experience in managing model lifecycles, data management, analytics, and application development.Good Understanding of mathematical aspects of Machine Learning such as cost function, gradient calculation, Derivatives, Convergence concept, exploding and diminishing gradient problems etcPractical understating of huge data handling in ML pipelines.Strong background in open-source tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn,Pandas, NumPy, SciPy Apache Spark, SQL for database querying and manipulation, Good understanding to JSON and structure and parsing in Python, and LangchainMust have a good understanding of Large Language Models, RAG implementation and various opensource LLMsGood to have knowledge of deploying models on edge devicesGood to have Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure.Key Competencies:Ability to articulate complex technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.Experience in presenting technical information to diverse audiences.Critical thinking and ability to support collaborative problem-solving in a team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.Key Programming Concepts:Object-oriented programming principlesData structures and algorithmsError handling and debugging techniquesVersion control systems (., Git)Additional Skills (Desirable):Familiarity with designing & deploying scalable digital web based applications.Experience in multi-touch attribution, market mix modelling, fraud analytics, customer journey analysis, churn modelling, customer segmentation, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and recommendation engines.Experience in designing, implementing, testing, and shipping production-quality AI/ML softwareExperience with analytics, machine learning techniques, advanced analytics, and end-to-end pipelines using frameworks like Kubeflow.Overall, the ideal candidate for the data scientist role at Oracle GSC should have a strong educational background, significant professional experience in data science and related fields, proficiency in relevant technical skills and tools, and key competencies in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Additionally, familiarity with specific industry domains and advanced techniques in AI/ML is desirable.Evaluation Criteria:- Proficiency in programming languages will be tested through coding exercises and technical interviews.- Usecase presentations will be required to evaluate the candidate's ability to translate business problems into actionable insights and solutions.- Demonstrated experience in deploying machine learning models and managing model lifecycles will be assessed through case studies and real-world scenarios.Diversity and Inclusion:
