Position Overview

Synechron is on the lookout for an experienced Java IDP Developer to enhance our engineering team's capabilities. The selected candidate will be instrumental in crafting, developing, and deploying superior software solutions that meet our high standards of quality.

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Identity and Access Management (IdP) Engineer with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, specializing in OAuth2 and other authentication protocols. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various IdP platforms and a deep understanding of security principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain secure authentication and authorization solutions using Java and Spring Framework.

Implement and configure IdP platforms such as Gravitee, Forgerock OpenAM, Auth0, etc.

Ensure a thorough understanding and application of SAML, JWT, OIDC, and OAuth2 protocols.

Collaborate with the DevOps team to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including scripting and Linux command line proficiency.

Manage cloud-based services and deployments, particularly on AWS.

Work within an agile development environment, contributing to the team's adaptability and continuous improvement.

Enhance security measures through the implementation of SSL, TLS, cryptography, and certificate management.

Develop services using Spring, with a focus on configuring SSL.

Handle basic Unix operations and OAuth token management, including generation and signing.

Qualifications:

Strong foundation in Java, from OOP principles to core and advanced Java.

Experience in service writing with Spring and SSL service configuration.

Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.

Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS is a plus.

Proficiency in application monitoring and troubleshooting with tools like AppDynamics, ELK, or Splunk.
