Focus of the Function :


- Experience in solution design & end to end handling of RFPs/RFIs/Proactive deals with responsibilities for Solution Architecture, Innovation & technology consulting in the infrastructure management & cloud service areas.

- He should be a manager grooming a team of young solution specialists as well as should act as an individual contributor (with very less supervision & guidance)


- Should quickly understand the services of the organization, engagement model etc.

and should be a quick starter - proactive in all activities.

- Analyzes IT Infrastructure Services requirements for customers and design appropriate cost-effective services/solutions


- Solutions/Service Design dealing with all components of an IT Infrastructure, Transition & Transformation (Technology & Services)


- Evaluate, recommend, architect and implement Services solutions to enhance the IT Infrastructure Services.

- Build technical solution documents, effort estimates and market competitiveness of solution.

- Responsible to build and propose transformational services to customers, identify triggers, identify key IT Infrastructure issues which impact the business and make recommendations to customers.

- Build and develop business case, provide relevant and sound business & technical advice to the customer and present the same to various stakeholders within 3i.

- Map competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies


- Create, maintain, and publish a set of written procedures and best practices for the delivery of pre and post sales services to customers.

Competency Skills :

- Recent experience in working for a Tier 1/2 Technology Services Provider or major Cloud Services provider in a solutioning role

- Proficient in the Solutioning Process lead by 3rd Party Advisors

- Prior experience leading, costing and implementing large complex Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing (ITO) pursuits, with a large technology transformation component i.e. workload migration to Public Cloud, data center consolidations, etc.

- Strong proficiency creating business willing solutions aligned with key market growth areas; Public/Hybrid Cloud, Cyber security

- Demonstrated ability to communicate (written & verbal) effectively and to influence at CxO level

- Experience and/or Certification : AWS - Solution Architect, Microsoft - MCSA/MCSE would be advantageous

What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role :

- MBA (will be preferred), BE/BTech approx.

- 10 - 15 years of experience in technology, preferably with experience in leading design and architecture assignments portfolios.

- Minimum of 5+ years in a solution / infrastructure / technical architect role

Key Skills :

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with excellent project & time management skills.

- Excellent analytical and execution skills

- Proven ability to work effectively from home, being able to network effectively in a remote environment, and ability to travel/come to office when required for internal workshops, meetings.

- Very 'hands-on' person with highly productive individual contributor output along with team building skills

- Should be able to handle pressure and long work hours, if necessary
