We are headquartered in the US, withthe delivery centre in Pune. Our clients are some of the biggest and the most progressive names in the financial & telecom industry. We are entering a significant growth phase and are looking for individuals with entrepreneurial mindsetwho wants us to join in this exciting journey.Position: Director Credit & Risk Analytics As part of our Analytics Consulting vertical, we are looking for an experienced Director of Credit & Risk Analytics to lead the credit risk management strategy for our rapidly growing US based consumer Buy Now, Pay Later client. In this leadership role, and involves developing and optimizing the risk framework, leveraging data-driven insights, and ensuring sound credit decisions that balance growth and risk.This is a WFH remote position, reporting to the CRO of the client who is based in the US.You will be leading a team of 6-7 experienced analytics professionals.The work timings are 2pm to 11pm IST, which ensures 3-4 hours of overlap with our client based in the EST time zone Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Credit Risk Strategy & Framework: Develop and implement end-to-end credit risk strategies aligned  with business goals and regulatory requirements. 2. Portfolio Risk Management: Oversee portfolio performance, manage credit limits, and ensure  proactive risk identification and mitigation. 3. Data-Driven Insights: Work closely with data science teams to refine risk models, improve customer  segmentation, and predict defaults. 4. Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk policies while  maintaining strong governance practices. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and finance teams to align risk  strategies with business initiatives. 6. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of  continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills 1. 10+ years of credit risk management experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in BNPL  or consumer finance. 2. Expertise in credit risk modeling, analytics (SAS, R, Python), and data-driven decision-making. 3. Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams. 4. Master's degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field (MBA/PhD is a plus).
