Role Overview

We're looking for a creative Video Editor with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in editing professional-grade YouTube content. You will play a pivotal role in shaping Swaran Soft's video storytelling, brand presence on YouTube, and enhancing content engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver polished video content tailored for YouTube—from raw footage to final high-quality output.
  • Apply core editing skills: timeline refinement, color correction, audio balancing, transitions, motion graphics, and subtitles.
  • Translate written briefs or rough cuts into compelling visual narratives.
  • Incorporate branding elements consistent with Swaran Soft's identity—logos, lower thirds, intros/outros, and theme.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and content teams to align video output with strategic goals.
  • Manage timelines, maintain an organized file system, and uphold versioning discipline.
  • Stay current with YouTube best practices—aspect ratios, SEO, thumbnails, titles, and upload specs.
  • Assist in thumbnail design, metadata optimization, and post-upload enhancements.
  • Propose creative ideas for content format, pacing, and channel strategy to improve viewer engagement.
Required Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in video editing for YouTube or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
  • Strong grasp of video composition, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
  • Understanding of YouTube's technical requirements and best practices (formats, specs, SEO).
  • Skilled at storytelling through visuals and editorial pacing.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and an ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects (motion graphics).
  • Experience with YouTube analytics and optimization strategies.
  • Background in tech-focused or B2B video creation, especially in SaaS, AI, or AR/VR.
  • Creative mindset with a knack for visual storytelling and engagement.
