From hosting The Community League to producing content that celebrates players, coaches, and fans, our mission is to grow the game by telling real stories and delivering real impact.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a passionate and organized Social Media Head who understands the pulse of sports and can lead our digital presence with energy and precision. You will be responsible for planning and executing content, managing interns, handling hiring, and being the go-to person for all things social during our events. This is not a remote desk job — you’ll need to be present on event days, coordinating with ground teams and capturing moments as they happen.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & PlanningDevelop and maintain content calendars across all platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)Build campaigns that align with our tournament timelines and sports ecosystemEnsure timely and relevant content delivery around events and league activitiesOn-ground ExecutionBe present and active on all event days, coordinating with photographers, videographers, and media internsManage live coverage, collect behind-the-scenes content, and direct social media activity in real-timeSync with matchday ops to capture key moments and deliver content quicklyTeam Leadership & HiringLead and mentor a team of interns and junior creatorsManage task delegation, timelines, and output reviewHandle hiring, onboarding, and intern performance trackingOrganizational & Communication ExcellenceBe structured in planning, prioritizing, and meeting content deadlinesStay available for regular calls, meetings, and cross-functional coordinationCollaborate with operations, sales, and design teams for aligned communicationWho We’re Looking For3–5 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketingExperience working in sports, events, or fast-paced content environments preferredHighly organized with strong leadership skillsExcellent command over social platforms and content tools (Canva, Meta tools, Google Suite, etc.)Willingness to work weekends/event days and be available for meetings and callsA true team player who thrives in dynamic, on-ground sports settingsWhy Join Us?Be at the heart of grassroots sports and content creation in IndiaLead high-impact digital campaigns with real on-ground storiesBuild and manage your own creative team while being part of a larger mission
