Senior QA Lead

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Lead to join our growing development team. You will be responsible for leading and scaling all aspects of quality assurance for our applications built using a variety of technologies including SharePoint, HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery, , React, , Flutter, .NET Core, Python, PHP, Ionic. You will play a strategic role in the development process, ensuring that our applications meet the highest quality standards and deliver a positive user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for all projects across various technologies.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA testers in manual and automated testing activities.
• Define and monitor quality KPIs such as defect leakage, automation coverage, and release readiness.
• Develop, audit and maintain test plans, test cases, and other test documentation.
• Conduct thorough manual testing of applications, focusing on functionality, usability, and performance.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using appropriate tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, , Playwright etc).
• Identify and report bugs and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Work collaboratively with development and product teams to resolve identified issues and ensure timely fixes.
• Stay up to date on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and drive quality culture across teams.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior and mid-level QA testers.
• Manage relevant stakeholders during UAT and weekly/daily status meetings.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3–5 years in a QA Lead/Senior role.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and motivating a QA team.
• Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience with various QA tools and frameworks (at least one of: Selenium WebDriver, , Playwright).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in handling enterprise-level projects across multiple technologies: SharePoint, HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery, , React, , Flutter, .NET Core, Python, PHP, Ionic.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman/SoapUI).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with project/test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps board, Trello).

Good to Have:

• Experience with security testing methodologies (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• Experience with shift-left testing and integrating QA into the development lifecycle.
• Experience with cloud-based testing tools and platforms.
• Experience with exploratory testing and creative problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with big data or machine learning testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of accessibility testing guidelines (WCAG).
• Experience in leading and coaching performance improvement initiatives within the QA team.
• Experience managing distributed/offshore QA teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
