And the timings will be 11:30 AM to 4 PM IST from the office, and 9 PM to 12:30 AM IST from home.Face to Face interview on Monday and Tuesday 17 & 18 Novemeber.Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and passionate Web Manual + Cypress/Playwright Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of web applications by designing, developing, and maintaining test plans, test cases and test runs along with automated tests using Cypress/Playwright. You will work closely with development and QA teams to drive test automation best practices and help deliver high-quality software.Responsibilities:Automation Engineer (Cypress/Playwright/Javascript/Typescript) with good Manual Testing experienceContribute in Cypress Automation tasksBasics (Communication, Jira, Github).Strong software tester background who understands SDLC thoroughlyStrong in creating test plansStrong in understanding project requirements and functional conceptsStrong in writing Test CasesExecute test cases and provide crisp reports.Strong in creating bugs and follow complete bug life cycleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test automation strategies.Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites to validate web applications.Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.Maintain code using Source Control systems majorly GitWrite clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and testcases.Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge within the team.Qualifications:BE/BTech/ME/MTech: (Computer Science) / MCA3+ years of proven experience in test automation using Cypress/Playwright.Strong Manual Testing experienceStrong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript along with OOPS conceptsExperience with Agile software development processes and practices.Experience with modern web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, etc.).Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar.Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.Experience with version control systems majorly Git is a mustStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, gitlab CI, BitBucket CI , or similar is a mustExperience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus.
