This role is for the Portfolio company Reeup- We’re building a B2B marketplace for a state-regulated industry , where licensed wholesalers sell to licensed retailers. Every transaction must be compliant, verified, and audit-ready — with live government license checks, POS integrations, and delivery tracking. We’re looking for an engineer who loves complex integrations , AI-assisted development , and fast shipping . What You’ll DoBuild permission-based data sharing (multi-tier, field-level, approval workflows). Sync and validate 2,500+ government licenses via API integrations. Integrate with POS (GraphQL) and logistics platforms (Fleetbase). Automate real-time order syncs, delivery tracking , and compliance reporting. Work with AI tools like Cursor + Claude Code to generate and refine production-ready code. Ship features weekly — no red tape, no endless meetings. ⚙️ Tech StackFrontend: Next.js 14, Tailwind, Radix UI, Zustand Backend: FastAPI (Python 3.11), Raw SQL (PyMySQL), APScheduler Database: MySQL (prod), SQLite (dev), JSON columns Integrations: Socrata API, Dutchie GraphQL, Fleetbase, Resend, Slack Webhooks.
