Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Remote (India) – Required to work from 1 PM IST to 12 AM IST

Pay Rate: Total compensation ranges from 22 to 35 lakhs per annum, based on experience.

Duration: This is a contract position. Only apply if you are comfortable with contract work. The position is approved for full-time work up to a year and is likely to extend.

Notice Period: Only accepting candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less, or those who can start immediately.

Interview Process: 1-hour MS Teams interview with a panel of management and developers.

Must-Haves:

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer using AWS and Snowflake.
  • Experience in handling data from various sources and transferring data from AWS to Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in creating and modifying Tableau dashboards, displaying data from Snowflake databases.

Plusses:

  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft stack, including SSIS and ETL processes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including 6-7 years in data engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in moving data to cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and in transferring data from AWS to Snowflake. Experience with data integration from various sources, such as Oracle, Salesforce, Great Plains, and third-party vendors, is essential. The role also involves managing and modifying Tableau dashboards, with 20-30% of the responsibilities focused on dashboard creation and displaying data from the Snowflake database.
