Seeking: Senior Automation QA / SDET (Software Developer in Test)

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Automation QA / SDET. Senior Automation QA / SDET (Software Developer in Test) will be responsible for developing the testing frameworks and, where appropriate, will introduce new test tools with the goal to automate as much of the testing process as possible..


Qualifications

  • MUST HAVE API Automation testing with hands-on experience- preferably Java / Cucumber/ REST Assured
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Mid - Senior Automation QA
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proven experience in an automation testing position.
  • Experience of creating and maintaining automation frameworks using Java
  • Strong experience of automated API testing (ideally REST-assured framework).
  • Strong experience using Postman tool.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and exploratory testing.
  • Strong experience of manual testing, writing test cases and producing test reports.
  • Supporting the Lead QA on requirements analysis and solution design, including estimating
  •  Communicating test results to technical and business stakeholders and working collaboratively to resolve issues raised
  •  Supporting the team to implement solutions, getting hands-on with test preparation and execution
  •  Engaging with users, Dev’s, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and agree test coverage


Good to have


  • ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification preferred.
  • Pega / Pega CDH (Pega Decisioning Consultant) certifications
