Key Responsibilities: Contractual role in Jubilant Biosys

EHS Standards / Guidelines:

  • Implement and ensure the effectiveness of EHS SOPs, train the concerned persons and bring the EHS performance improvements within the facility.

Hazard identification and minimization:

  • Conduct periodical safety assessments, audit to identify the hazards and ensure the effective Controls.
  • Counselling of employees on unsafe acts
  • Coordinate with HODs to implement the CAPA decided against observations.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Ensure all firefighting and emergency equipment are maintained.
  • Training to Emergency Reponses Team Members
  • Conduct Mock drills and others safety training periodically as per the TNI matrix
  • Periodically testing of fire detection and alarm systems.

Health

  • Ensuring annual health check-up of all employees.
  • Educate / train the people on hygiene issues
  • Ensure Legal compliances

PPE management

  • PPE selection & procurement and ensure availability of appropriate PPEs
  • Train the people on usage of PPEs and disposal.

EHS Training & Awareness

  • Help in conducting EHS training on various topics.
  • Spreading safety awareness among all employees.
