JOB DESCRIPTIONJob title: SAP ECC Senior Finance Solution Architect Responsible to: Director SAP DEVOP Finance Department: Global Financial ApplicationsLocation of work: London, UKmain purpose of roleThe candidate will join a strong SAP Build team with an in progress Global SAP implementation. The ECC Senior Solution Architect will be responsible to ensure the good design and management of the existing global template for FICO (i.e. P2 P and OTC) and SCM whilst contributing heavily to new designs as the SAP project continues to roll out to 33 new territories globally. This will involve close cooperation with multiple parties including FICO & SD\MM architects & ABAP developers & Business process owners. Core skills include:Serve as a key member of the ECC solution architect team to help formulate a strategy to help in formulating the solution functional designAct as a liaison between BPA (‘Business Process Analys’) team and supportResponsible for the solution architecture on a major new strategic programme of work within the organisationEnsure that the solution designed and delivered to IT estate are aligned to the architectural roadmapDesign and implement solutions to achieve successful business outcome and align with UMG Global Design principlesOwnership, control and management of a FICO global templateExtensive SAP solution design experienceHands on configuration experience of FI, MM, SD, PS, CO-PA, CO-CCA/PCA, Banking, and SAP DRCGood understanding on the localisation knowledge Strong understanding of integration with BIExperience of business process design including requirement gathering Translate requirements into implementation plansAbility to current and future state data, technical, application and business architecture needed, verify and modify recommended implementation plan based on BPA inputs and existing/inflight projectsDesign authority for support & project delivery teams Work closely with UMG Operational Support & his team to resolve any issues, if requireWork cross-functionally with multiple teams including implementation partners and support Think out of the box to come up with creative solutions to address issuesAptitude for quickly learning new technologies, and a desire to research and understand new areas of SAPUp to date with developments in areas in and around the SAP roadmapAble to identify best practice solutions to complex problems Train on methodology including streamlining, simplification and automation of tasksperson specificationThe candidate must have excellent general SAP ECC skills, accompanied with a solid understanding of SAP BIAs a Senior Finance Solution Architect who has evolved from a strong background in hands on SAP developmentExperience designing resilient and high availability solutionsPassion to deliver the high-quality solution with an all-in commitment to what we doSuccessful track record of implementing any of the SAP global programmeHighly experienced with SAP FICO & SCM, with at least 8 to 10 implementation cycles completed Skills and experience in the following areas would be highly advantageous: ABAP & S4 HANA Consulting background preferredAbility to engage with and inspire confidence across all levels of the business to Senior levelAccounting background preferredExperience of working in a global environmentExposure to the media industry would be preferable Strong communication & presentation skillsWorking knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
