Factory Manager:


A: Job Description:

As a Factory Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing facility,ensuring efficient operations, high quality production and adherence to safety standards and Factory compliances You will lead a team of production staff,managers ,engineers and technicians to achieve production targets, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and product quality.

Thorough knowledge of Factory Industrial Laws and Labour Laws, & other Administrative Compliances for the smooth and efficient running - operations of the factory is mandatory.


Roles and Responsibilities:

A:

Team Leadership

1.Supervision and motivating a diverse team of production staff,managers,including machine operators,assemblers and quality control personnels.


2.Providing coaching,training ,development, enhancing organic career development to enhance team performance and foster the culture of cooperation and continuous improvement.


3.Addressing employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and efficient manner .


B:

Production Management:

1.Developing and implementing production schedules along with the Head of Production in adherence to commitments to clients by the company.


2.Identifying opportunities of improvisations -process oriented along with the Head Of Production.


C:

Operations Leadership

1.Strategic planning : Develop and execute along with the Head Of Production,Line Managers and Human Resource Dept strategies with organizational goals.


D:

Resource Optimisation :

1.Ensuring Inventory levels are managed with efficiency.

2.Coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

3.Ensuring efficient dispatch/logistics and related goods movement ,exit of vehicular movement thus ensuring timely arrival of goods at clients place.

4.Overseeing maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.


E:

Quality assurance:

1.Implementation of Quality control measures in adherence and coordination with Head of Production and Quality Control Manager.

2.Ensuring processes are inspected at regular intervals , identifying grey areas and implementation of corrective measures .

3.Driving a culture of quality consciousness and attention to implement standard operating processes.


F:

Health and Safety + Legal Compliances.

1. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies , mandated by the govt policies , factory laws act.

2.Ensuring a safe working environment.

3.Conducting regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any hazards or concerns promptly.

4.Stay informed about industry regulations,environmental standards and labour laws.

5.Maintain accurate records related to production,safety and quality.

6.Preparation of MIS reports for the management and for the regulatory bodies that govern the factory and premise.


G:

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

1.Monitoring key performance indicators related to production output,quality,efficiency and cost.

2.Generating reports on factory analyzing trends and variances, identifying opportunities for improvement.

3.Collaborating with senior management to develop strategies and action plans to achieve operational goals.


H:

Budget Management:

1.Develop and manage the manufacturing budget , ensuring cost effective operations and optimal resource utilisation.

2.Monitor expenses,analyse variances,implement cost saving measures wherever necessary.


I:

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a managerial role running a production unit/facility is mandatory.
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, manufacturing or allied field is highly preferred.
  • A masters degree in management in addition to the above is desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing manufacturing facility ,optimizing processes and having demonstrated efficiency in operating a production unit is mandatory.
  • A strong leader who can manage large teams across the board is a necessity.
  • Excellent and strong communication skills in both Hindi and English , interpersonal skills and problem solving skills is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and relevant software applications will be an advantage.


Candidates , Ex Defence personnels, with a management degree , with good exposure to mechanical engineering and production processes also can apply.


It is important to note that the location of our production facility is at Kasna, Greater Noida, UP, near Delhi.
