Moody's is at the forefront of financial technology, revolutionizing the landscape with cutting-edge solutions. We are seeking an accomplished Senior QA Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of expertise to lead our automation initiatives and contribute to the delivery of top-tier software products.

Responsibilities:

1. Automation Leadership:

Drive the automation strategy by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests. Champion the adoption of automation best practices within the QA team.

2. Test Execution Excellence:

Write, execute, and continuously enhance automated test scripts to validate software functionality. Leverage automation tools, particularly Selenium and Playwright, to ensure robust test coverage.

3. Results Analysis and Reporting:

Collaborate with manual testers and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to quality assurance.

4. Artifact Maintenance:

Maintain and update automation scripts and testing artifacts to reflect evolving requirements.

5. Test Data Management:

Utilize advanced queries to create and manage test data, ensuring its relevance to automated tests.

6. Automation Framework Development:

Take a lead role in developing and enhancing automation framework modules to meet specific testing requirements. Understand integration with CI/CD platform

7. Collaboration and Mentorship:

Work closely with manual testers, Business Analysts, and team members to foster a collaborative testing environment. Mentor junior team members, sharing automation expertise and best practices.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree). 3+ years of QA experience with a strong emphasis on automation. Proven expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks. In-depth understanding of the SDLC and QA methodologies, including test planning. Knowledge of web-based technology architecture, data structures, and RESTful APIs. Experience with automated testing tools and environments. Strong database skills and the ability to manage test data effectively. Ability to work within the constructs of an agile process, including SCRUM, Continuous Build and Integration, etc. Capability to handle multiple projects concurrently, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail. Critical thinking skills for thorough analysis of system requirements and test scenarios.

Required Skills

Proficiency in C# (.NET) and Selenium. Experience with BDD tools like Gherkin/Specflow. Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools to run automation framework Experience with JIRA and tools like Xray or any other test management tool

Preferred Skills

Experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript is preferred Experience in API Automation Testing Experience in Performance Testing
