Senior Azure Administrator

Role and Responsibilities:

As a member of the Product team, your main focus will be on provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure, automating processes, configuring security measures, and implementing cost-saving strategies. You will interact with stakeholders to facilitate the migration of their workloads to an Enterprise Scale environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to drive continuous improvements and perform security assessments of cloud resources, implementing initiatives to enhance security.


Technical Skills and Expertise:

- Proficient in automating and orchestrating workloads in the Azure cloud environment.

- Skilled in deploying cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

- Experienced in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

- Capable of identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities in the existing cloud infrastructure and conducting regular security assessments.

- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and HashiCorp Vault is a plus.


Qualifications and Requirements:

- At least 4 years of experience in Azure cloud administration and over 7 years in IT infrastructure or development roles.

- Must hold an AZ-104 certification as well as the AZ-500 and AZ-400.


Desired Attributes:

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps settings.

- Preferably experienced in managing complex cloud infrastructures.

- Demonstrates a proactive approach and a passion for learning and developing cloud/DevOps skills.

- A team player, comfortable with conducting knowledge transfer sessions within the team and with stakeholders.
