What you’ll do at AtherYou will play the role of the “first customer” and make a difference by providing constructive and interesting feedback during the testing phase of the Power Electronics based products in EV and Charging infrastructure domains.

As a Test Engineer in Ather, you will be an integral part of the Product Validation team where you will be involved in End-To-End testing of Power Electronics based products, such as

Private and Public charging systems and Power distribution unit

in the automotive domain.

You will ensure our products meet quality and safety standards before they are launched .

You will work closely with the hardware and firmware design engineering teams to understand the products specifications/features and then develop Manual/Automated test environments and test cases for Power Electronics products .

You will run a series of tests through all stages of the hardware and firmware development life cycle process to identify defects and recommend improvements.

You will be doing test result data analysis and test report generation

You will support the RCA for bug resolution

Here’s what we’re looking for :Hands-on experience in Power electronics systems testing in EV domain

LabVIEW/Python/Shell/CAPL scripting

Analyze functional dependencies of Firmware/Hardware modifications to prepare regression test plans during Firmware upgrades and Hardware changes

Experience in

Chargers/Converters/Inverters/Motor Drives validation and verification

Experience in Test plan creation

Knowledge in CAN bus Physical and application layers testing

Experience in ECUs testing, Test plan creation and execution

Hands-on experience in operating Power analyzer, Auto transformer and DC Power supply, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Clamp meter, Data logger, Electronic Load, HI pot tester, LCR meter, Spectrum analyzer, High voltage probe, Current probe, Voltage and current sensors, Thermocouple,

Power meter, Function generator and environmental chambers

Knowledge in Semiconductor Device Characteristics – MOSFETs, IGBTs, Thyristors, Rectifiers.

Familiar with Power Management ICs (Gate Drivers, PWM Controllers, LDOs, Switching Regulators, LED Drivers)

Familiar with Microcontroller/Microprocessor/DSP Architecture – Registers, Bus, PWM, DMA, watchdog, ADC,DAC, Timers,

etc.

What you bring to Ather:

BE//B-Tech/ in EEE/ECE

2-5 years of thorough experience in Power electronics products testing in EV/Automotive domains

LabVIEW/Python based test Automation Knowledge is preferred
