Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Planning and Analysis (FP &A)
Develop andimplement financial strategies policies and procedures to supportthe organizations growth
objective.
Lead thebudgeting forecasting and financial planning processes to ensurealignment with business goals and
objectives.
Conduct financial analysis including variance analysis trendanalysis and scenario planning to provide
insights intobusiness performance and support decisionmakingprocesses.
2. Financial Reporting andCompliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements accounting standards and tax regulations relevant tothe
fintech industry.
Oversee the preparationof financial statements including income statements balance sheetsand cash flow
statements ensuring accuracy andtimeliness.
Coordinate external audits and regulatoryexaminations serving as the primary point of contact for auditorsand
regulatory agencies.
3. Risk Managementand Controls:
Assess financial risks including creditrisk market risk and operational risk and implement strategiesto
mitigate risks and safeguard the organizationsassets.
Establish and maintain effective internalcontrols and procedures to ensure the integrity of financialinformation
and compliance with regulatoryrequirements.
Conduct periodic risk assessments andinternal audits to monitor compliance with internal controls andidentify
areas for improvement.
4. Cash FlowManagement and Treasury Operations:
Manage cash flowliquidity and working capital to support operational needs andfinancial stability.
Monitor and analyze cash flowprojections liquidity positions and capital requirements optimizingcash
management strategies to maximize returns andminimize risks.
Oversee treasury operations includingcash management investment management and bankingrelationships
ensuring efficient use of financialresources. 5. Financial Operations andSystems:
Oversee daytoday financial operations includingaccounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general
ledger accounting.
Implement and maintain financialsystems and software applications to support accounting reportingand
analysis functions ensuring data integrity andsecurity.
Streamline financial processes and workflowsto improve efficiency and scalability leveraging technologyand
automation solutions where appropriate.
6. Strategic Finance and Business Partner:
Partner withsenior management and crossfunctional teams to provide financialinsights analysis and
recommendations to supportstrategic decisionmaking and business planning.
Collaborate with business units to develop financial modelsbusiness cases and investment proposals for new
initiatives and growth opportunities.
Evaluate potentialmergers acquisitions and partnerships conducting financial duediligence and assessing
strategic fit and financialviability.
