Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled physiotherapist to join our team as a Trainer and Team Leader. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's in Physiotherapy (MPT) and have at least 3 years of experience in teaching physiotherapy students and professionals. The role involves providing training in various physiotherapy techniques with a focus on manual therapy, including fascial manipulation, myofascial techniques, structural integration, osteopathy, taping, aquatic therapy, scoliosis, and pelvic rehabilitation. The Physiotherapist Trainer and Team Leader will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of physiotherapy professionals.
Responsibilities:
Training and Education:
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs in physiotherapy techniques, with a focus on manual therapy and specialised areas such as fascial manipulation, myofascial techniques, structural integration, osteopathy, taping, aquatic therapy, scoliosis, and pelvic rehabilitation.
Conduct workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions for physiotherapy students and professionals.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy and incorporate relevant information into training programs.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of physiotherapy professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages continuous learning and professional development.
Coordinate team activities, ensuring the effective implementation of training programs and achieving performance goals.
Clinical Expertise:
Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in manual therapy and other specialised areas, serving as a resource for team members.
Provide consultation and guidance on complex cases, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and evidence-based practices in physiotherapy.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality training programs and clinical services.
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Qualifications:
Master's in Physiotherapy (MPT) from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching physiotherapy students and professionals.
Specialised training in manual therapy, with expertise in fascial manipulation, myofascial techniques, structural integration, osteopathy, taping, aquatic therapy, scoliosis, and pelvic rehabilitation.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
