Since 2022 me, Dr. Raj Abhijit Dandekar (MIT PhD) and Dr. Rajat Dandekar (Purdue PhD) at Vizuara have been helping candidates to apply for grad school in the US and elsewhere as part of our program called Videsh Long Term Mentorship (LTM).

This LTM's vision is to give students a very structured long-term roadmap to build their research profile and also to pitch the best version of their story in the application documents.

For the last three years, we have been handling the responsibilities of LTM primarily by ourselves. But now the scope of the program has reached a point where we are looking to expand our team who can take our mentorship program to the next level.

We have helped over 400 students in the last three years to get top-tier admits. And we have also conducted more than 70 webinars on various topics with respect to graduate school application and research.

One challenge we are facing is with respect to taking new candidates. Every year, the months starting from August are always a rush, and because we have limited bandwidth and manpower, we have been pausing the intake of new students after a certain point. This need not be the case if we have some superstars in our team.

To fill this role, we are currently hiring.

We have currently opened a new position for someone to join us and take care of various aspects of our LTM mentorship program end-to-end.

The responsibilities will include the following:

1) Working as a research assistant who can guide students on the research direction that they can take. You will also get to co-author impactful papers with students if interested.

2) Giving proper assistance to students with respect to how to craft the best versions of their documents and story telling.

3) Technical support via emails, phone calls, etc, to existing students and future potential students

This will require two sets of skills:

1) Prior research experience working on research projects, publishing papers, presenting at conferences, etc.

2) Strong verbal and written communication skills.
