AOS Hong Kong is hiring Staff Field Application Engineering Consultant (Technical Sales) in Bangalore, India. This position is a full-time, permanent position.


Overall Purpose of Position:

  • Field Applications Engineer calling on key Tier 1 accounts.
  • The FAE is the main contact window in India for all technical requests from end customers.
  • Coordinate with NA FAE and applications if additional support is needed. Lead all technical presentations with end customers.
  • Support designs across multiple business units ranging from client to server.
  • Lead technical support for all board programs including reference and OEM projects.
  • Develop technical relationships with board engineers starting with power tree design to board level power-on bench validation.
  • Provide CRM tracking to exceed quarterly and yearly targets. Will support sales on new opportunity identification and production ramp.
  • Collaborate with product lines on new product proposals.


Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Work closely with NA WW sale and business development as well as factory applications to support Tier 1 customers in India.
  • Track design opportunity from initial meeting to final production.
  • Build business case for new product proposals.
  • Review system block diagrams and recommend best solutions to customer.
  • Provide detailed schematic and layout reviews.
  • Support bench power on validation on site at customer lab.
  • Collaborate with FAE colleagues in Asia to support reference design wins at ODMs.
  • Travel 30%, domestic and international if needed.


Qualifications:

  • BSEE or MSEE with deep knowledge in power management; POL, MOSFET, DrMOS, SPS, digital and analog controllers.
  • Deep knowledge of power supply control topologies.
  • Solid board validation and debug capabilities.
  • Preferred that the candidate have direct experience as an FAE in India with power management background for GPUs and CPUs in the server, graphics and higher performance computing applications.
  • Must have strong collaboration and communications skills.
