Product Owner

Position Summary: We are seeking highly accomplished Product Owner who can be the part of the GEDU IT Engineering Team at GEDU  Noida. The person should preferably have worked as Product Owner in any Software Product development organization and has experience in developing and delivering scalable Web/Mobile/SaaS/Cloud Products in agile methodology . He/she should be driven by business needs, should be a great user advocate, should have good communication skills and ability to inspire people at all levels to follow your customer intimacy. He/she should have led product teams or more as a product owner. The right candidate should be passionate about user experience, digital customer journey, software and technology product development, excellent communicator, comfortable with ambiguous environments, and can move fast, bring people and technology together. He/she can work with multiple Agile SCRUM teams as product owner. Responsible for co-developing the vision and strategy of the product by collaborating with Product Managers, product owners, architects, R&D leadership. He/she develops and communicates the strategic direction for the software teams. He/she collaborates with user experience team to define intuitive user experience to our users. He/she collaborates with R&D stakeholders to define the non-functional roadmap for the product. Duties and Responsibilities: As a part of this role, you will be leading one or multiple Products/Applications as a product owner. Plan the program increment by collaborating with other product owners and architects by taking in to account all cross-backlog dependencies. Regularly sync with all stakeholders to manage the product roadmap, product backlog, inter-backlog dependencies and risks towards our software releases. Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to translate product requirements into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and guide prioritization of backlog. work closely with Developers and other Product Owners, System and Solution architects as well as DevOps Architects across different locations to define and gain adoption of clean, well-designed contracts and best practices across the entire product line. Adjust and improve each iteration before the product is released. Negotiate with Business stakeholders and Development team for various priorities of features. Informing stakeholders and customers about the product’s status Ensure the readiness of the Product Features before demonstrating it to the client. Liaison with UI/UX team to provide inputs for enhancing the user experience. Should be able to manage multiple Product/Applications Should be able to ideate, conceptualise, design, present and get the Product features implemented. Required Skills and Qualifications: Excellent understanding of the Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodologies using tools like Atlassian JIRA/Confluence and Azure Boards etc . Proficient with MS Office Suite ( specially MS xlsx, MS Doc and MS ppt, Visio) Good decision-making considering the criticality of needs and trade-offs. Practical experience with product development management. Strong knowledge of how to employ analytical tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics etc. Ability to prioritise the product development process. Excellent understanding of the principles of user-centred design Excellent communication, both written and spoken, for collaborating with different teams Work well in small and huge teams Knowledge of design quality guidelines. Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies Good organisational skills Creative and innovative thinking Passionate about providing intuitive and excellent user experience. Ask for Feedback  Be Resilient Persuasion Entrepreneurship Prior experience of working in products related to education domain like Unit 4, Thesis, EventMap, Moodle and Zoho etc. Nice to have Skills and Qualifications: Prior experience of working in a start-up culture prior experience of working in Agile SAFe and PI Planning  Prior experience of working in Ed-Tech/E-Learning companies  CSPO Certification Experience: Decent years of experience as a Product Owner/BA in Agile Development Environment Educational Qualification(s): BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/MBA or Graduate with relevant experience
