We are looking for 30% IT Infrastructure and 70% Business Applications Interested candidates can share Resume at Title – GM IT Department - ITReporting to: MD Location: BangaloreObjective:Lead information technology function of a rapidly growing, Indian FMCG company into foodsegment.-

Support forthcoming IT projects aligned with the business strategy.-

Manage the current applications and IT infrastructure of the organization and look out foroptimization opportunities.-

Manage an IT organization which can support the multiple stakeholders including sales team /distributors / retailers / e-commerce teams.-

Suggest changes in IT policies, procedures, security & governance mechanism in thecompany;

Drive seamless operation & effective maintenance of enterprise architect,applications, and infrastructure while securing enterprise from security threats.Roles and Responsibilities:1. Financial Responsibilities-

Formulate the IT budget for the company, discuss and seek approval from the finance andmanagement team-

Track and ensure IT budget adherence at the company level;

Timely report and addressbudget overruns if any2. Business Applications-

Understand the business needs in terms of new applications, solutions and tools which willhelp in terms of cost reduction, process improvements and better customer experience.-

Support Mobility solution for sales team, look out the possibility of Distributor managementsystem for distributors, Retailer application, BI tool for MIS reporting, AI Chabot for retailers.-

Support Oracle Netsuite ERP’s existing implementation and suggest changes in terms ofmodules to be implemented.-

Support existing HR software and implement new modules of HRMS.-

Oversee project implementation and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets and quality;

Actas an escalation point in case of project deadlocks and ensure timely resolution of issues-

Track and report on project status at identified critical milestonesi. Mutually discuss and resolve issues, evaluate partner performance andundertake actions for seamless project delivery-

Continuously scan changing IT landscape and share best practices relevant to Company; assess the latesttechnological advancements and drive new technology IT projects andinitiatives at the company in consultation with management team, while proactively meetingbusiness requirements.3. IT Operations Excellence-

Implement a robust IT operating and service delivery model that will guide the company’s ITfunction in line with best practises in the industry.-

Drive development / up-gradation of IT systems, procedures & processes to cater to evolvingcompany needs and enhancing effectiveness and efficiency of operations;

Identify and signContract / MOU with Infrastructure, Application & Security Partners for company-specificrequests/ tools-

Maintain an oversight of effective deployment of IT assets, systems, procedures and processeswith respect to consistency, reliability and effectiveness.o Monitor the validity of infrastructure, applications and systems licenses and ensuretimely renewal4. Partner Management-

Identify and establish strategic partnerships with the IT vendors.-

Strategically negotiate with partners for best cost for the projects-

Oversee and periodically review partner performance and service levels at the establishedSLAs;

Address or escalate non-compliances if any.5. IT infrastructure, Security, Risk Management and Governance-

Manage the existing IT infrastructure of the company and suggest any changes required.-

Drive adherence to IT security and governance framework, policies and guidelineso Oversee compliance and ensure prompt resolution of non-compliances / securityincidenceso Oversee establishment of IT security architecture and ensure integration of OTsecurity with overall security architecture-

Ensure robust implementation of guidelines and protocols for security, privacy, and dataprotection controls;

Oversee running of information security, privacy and data protectioncontrols (people/ process/ technology) to adequately mitigate security risks;

Address securityincidences and escalate issues when appropriate6. Customer Satisfaction-

Ensure customer feedback collection for the IT services and solutions;

Analyse customersatisfaction levels and discuss new strategies with the management to improve customersatisfaction levels based on feedback received-

Oversee initiatives raising awareness about IT services and solutions and communicating itsvalue contribution to the business.-

Ensure that end customers feedbacks are taken and acted upon in IT applications.7. People Management-

Drive a collaborative and a high performance driven culture – Set goals, review performanceand provide feedback so as to ensure a motivated and committed team-

Drive team engagement & collaborative workplace initiatives.Educational Qualification:-

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related disciplineo Higher Degree in relevant field (Computer Science or related, Business management)Experiences:-

Minimum 10+ years of work experience with 4-5 years minimum in the similar role, played akey role in project implementations in a large/ mid-sized FMCG Organization-

Experience in handling program management with business –wide change impact andmanaging IT technology project life cycle-

Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal / External) and multitude of users-

Active experience of managing sizeable teams (>

Experience of handling business application rollouts, services / project of multi-dimensionalnature and high complexity of services-

Exposure to:o Oracle or SAP S/4 HANA rollouts is preferred.o Managing Network, Infrastructure and IT Systems & Assets-

Exposure to cyber security and IT risk management verticals-

Preferable to have worked with technology Giants – AWS, SAP, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle-

Preferable to have worked in related industries – Pharma, FMCD or Process Manufacturing
