Job Title : Network Security Engineer

Location : Chennai

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firewall technologies and cloud security, with proven experience in Level 2-3 support. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our network infrastructure and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Firewall Support : Provide Level 2-3 support for firewall technologies, including Fortinet, Palo Alto, GCP/AWS firewalls, and other next-generation firewalls.

2. Cloud Security : Handle security-related issues in cloud environments, primarily focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

3. Web Application Firewall (WAF) : Implement and troubleshoot applications onboarded on WAF, ensuring proper security measures are in place.

4. VPN Management : Manage and troubleshoot Client-to-Site VPN environments to ensure secure connectivity.

5. Network Access Control (NAC) : Experience in handling Network Access/Admission Control (NAC) to manage user access to the network.

6. Network Diagram Creation : Create and maintain network diagrams, network architecture diagrams, and schematic diagrams using MS Visio.

Skills & Technologies :

- Firewall Technologies : 4+ years of experience in Level 2-3 support of firewall technologies, including Fortinet and Palo Alto.

- Cloud Environments : Proficiency in handling security issues in cloud environments, particularly GCP and AWS.

- WAF Implementation : Experience with implementing and troubleshooting Web Application Firewalls (WAF).

- VPN Configuration : Knowledge of Client-to-Site VPN configuration and troubleshooting.

- NAC Experience : Familiarity with Network Access/Admission Control systems.

- Diagramming Tools : Ability to create network diagrams using MS Visio.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
