Position Overview:

As an XR Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of XR and Metaverse projects from inception to delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Your deep understanding of the XR and Metaverse development pipeline, coupled with your expertise in real-time 3D development, will be crucial in driving the success of our projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and other stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations. Ensure that client requirements are met and deliverables align with their vision.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the XR and Metaverse development pipeline, ensuring efficient workflow, and identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks. Ensure that the real-time 3D development pipeline is optimized for quality and performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure that projects stay on track. Proactively address issues as they arise to minimize project disruptions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Conduct thorough testing and validation of XR and Metaverse experiences before deployment.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure that resources are allocated effectively. Track project expenses and work with finance to manage costs and project profitability.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting notes, and final deliverables. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on XR, Metaverse, or real-time 3D development.
  • Strong understanding of XR and Metaverse development pipelines.
  • Proficiency in real-time 3D development tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
