Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Theatre Technicians to join the Technician Team at Northern Health Operating Theatres. Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg. About the Role: This role requires the successful candidate to have experience across a variety of surgical specialties inclusive of Orthopaedic, Vascular, Plastics, Thoracic etc This role is responsible for but not limited to Setting up theatre equipment Patient positioning in collaboration with Surgical Team Patient transfers Working as Part of a Team To be successful in this role you will have: Experience and good working knowledge of Theatre technician equipment, operating tables, laser both Green light and Holmium, Traction Proven ability to work autonomously or part of a team Demonstrated knowledge of varying surgical specialties Well-developed communication and time management skills Relevant Certification Next Steps . . .
