Job DescriptionClient is seeking an Ab-Initio Developer for the Defense Pay program to perform conversions, interface development, documentation and unit testing using various Ab Initio tools. You will participate in development, integration, and deployment of solutions. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting application solutions and re-engineered components based on client requirements. Performs business and technical design functions, including making contributions to business and technical architecture components of the enterprise solution. This role is responsible for supporting technical documentation using the project’s toolset, code development in Ab Initio based on design specifications, data conversion/interface testing and progress reviews with client stakeholders.What you’ll get to do:General responsibility in the design, development, and delivery of pay and human resources data integration between multiple external systems and PeopleSoft, using and data conversion into PeopleSoft from legacy systems.

Develop technical solutions to business challenges and functional requirements.

Create, update, and edit functional and technical design specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements.

Interpret requirements, perform complex analyses, and present options and recommendations to obtain desired results.

Support and independently own tasks related to design, development of conversions and interfaces.

Conduct Unit testing and resolve issues found in testing.

Meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.

Provide overall technical and logistical support to the program.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or other technically relevant degree

Minimum 10 years of related experience

Experience in design and development of conversions and interfaces with ETL tools.

1-5 years of experience with Ab Initio

Experience in reading/writing source to target mapping documents.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.

Strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.

Effective communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner and success working in an Agile SAFe Scrum Team.

Active DoD Secret clearance.

Must have SAFe Certified Agilist certification within 90 days of start date.

Nice to Have:Experience with Ab Initio ETL Platform (plans, graphs, psets, meta-programming, etc.).

Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner and success working in Agile Product Teams (APTs).

Experience as a data modeler and/or data architect.

Experience with DoDAF Artifacts.

Experience with existing DoD Pay and Human Resources data and systems.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.

Active DoD Secret Clearance.

SAFe Agilist certified.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or other technically relevant degree Versed in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying PeopleSoft ERP HCM version 9.2. 10+ years of experience implementing ERP solutions (including Workday, PeopleSoft, etc.) with a minimum of five years of functional experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x Functional experience with one or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: HR Core, Profile Management, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Time and Labor, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, Workflow and Self Service Must be a team player and adjust to a dynamic working environment supporting a government agency. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and successfully work in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Preferred qualifications: Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 ERP implementation experience in large-scale projects Must have strong written, verbal, and listening skills. Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Note: DoD Secret clearance
