Job Title: Sr. Devops Engineer - Microsoft Azure

Location: Remote India

Duration: Full Time


We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure and Jenkins to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our software development lifecycle, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our applications.


Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

• Azure Infrastructure Management: Deploy, manage, and monitor applications and services on Microsoft Azure. Utilize Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.

• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

• Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance, utilizing tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

• Automation: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency across the development and deployment processes.

• Security: Implement security best practices in all aspects of the DevOps processes, including securing CI/CD pipelines, managing secrets, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the CI/CD processes, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures.

• Troubleshooting: Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues related to deployment, infrastructure, and performance.


Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on Azure and Jenkins.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

o Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.

o Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.

o Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

o Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud-native architectures.

o Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.


Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o Strong communication and collaboration skills.

o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar.

• Experience: Experience with other CI/CD tools and platforms, such as GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Travis CI.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud solutions.

• Tools: Experience with additional monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
