What you will work on:
● Should be well-versed with the compliance guidelines and controls for all regulatory requirements including RBI related compliances, SEBI, Companies Act, etc.
● Should be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.
● Liaison and deal with auditors and regulators from time to time
● Should keep abreast with the latest regulatory changes/ requirements and adhere to such requirements
● Prepare compliance reports for the Management
The ideal candidate:
● Highly driven and motivated individual with ability to get hands-on where required
● Possess good inter-personal skills and maintain cordial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
● Should be professionals of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete their duties, keeping in mind the objectives of the business.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Outstanding drafting skills and strong negotiation skills
Qualification and Experience:
● 5+ years of relevant experience in NBFC and Lending space
● Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a reputed institute with a good academic record
● Possess relevant secretarial experience, preferably in with a lending company or in the NBFC/BFSI sector
● Excellent knowledge of all the corporate laws including Companies Act, RBI compliance, etc
