Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Website Management

  • Maintain and update the WordPress site regularly, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Manage staging and production environments, ensuring all changes are tested before deployment.
  • Periodically update WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring compatibility and stability.

Content Creation & Publishing

  • Design and develop responsive landing pages using WordPress and custom HTML/CSS.
  • Publish and format blog posts, case studies, infographics, press releases and job postings with SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and ensure timely publishing.

Newsletter Development

  • Develop and code internal and external newsletters using HTML and CSS.
  • Ensure newsletters are responsive and compatible across email clients.
  • Coordinate with marketing and HR teams for content and timely delivery of newsletters.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct thorough testing of new features and content before pushing to production.
  • Monitor site analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing WordPress websites (custom themes, plugins, page builders).
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Familiarity with staging workflows and deployment best practices.
  • Experience with SEO optimization and responsive design.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with newsletter platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Familiarity with PHP and WordPress theme development.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Figma, Photoshop).
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance optimization.
