Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Linux Specialist with 17+ years of experience, located in Kolkata. The Linux Specialist will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux systems. On a daily basis, the specialist will handle operating systems' management, ensure system integrity, perform regular system updates, and provide support for UNIX infrastructure. The individual will also collaborate with various teams to optimize system performance and ensure seamless IT operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Linux System Administration and Unix
  • Proficiency in Operating Systems management and maintenance
  • Experience and expertise in Infrastructure management
  • Excellent Troubleshooting skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Kolkata
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in Linux or UNIX systems are a plus
