Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Node.js Developer located in Kollam. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring efficient integration with front-end systems, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions. The role involves managing client communications, handling project requirements, and contributing to planning and execution. Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular/React will be considered a strong bonus. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Node.js . Design and build RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end services. Work with database Mongo DB to design efficient data models and queries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Handle end-to-end project responsibilities including planning, estimation, and timely delivery. Handle client communications , including requirement gathering, updates, and feedback. Ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices. Perform debugging, code reviews, and optimizations. Qualifications 2 years of professional experience in Node.js development. Strong proficiency in Java Script, ES6+, and Type Script. Experience with REST API development, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth). Hands-on experience with relational and/or No SQL databases (My SQL, Mongo DB, Postgre SQL). Familiarity with microservices architecture and asynchronous programming. Good understanding of OOP concepts and software design patterns. Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git, Git Hub, Git Lab). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Preferred / Bonus Skills Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular/React). Experience with Python backend development. Familiarity with ERP systems or large-scale business applications. Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Exposure to testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest) and linting tools. Ability to take ownership of tasks, work independently, and lead small projects when required.
